Cerdeira Dining Table Wins the Good Design Award 2025
Greenapple is proud to announce that the Cerdeira Dining Table has been awarded a GOOD DESIGN Award 2025 in the Furniture category, one of the most prestigious and long-standing international distinctions in the design world.
Founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen alongside Charles and Ray Eames, the GOOD DESIGN Awards remain the world’s oldest and most globally recognised program for design excellence. Now in its 75th edition, the awards celebrate projects that stand out for superior design, innovation, sustainability and functionality.

Designed by Greenapple’s Creative Director Rute Martins, the Cerdeira Dining Table embodies a bold exploration of organic form and sculptural expression. Inspired by the raw and untamed landscape of Cerdeira Beach in Portugal, the piece departs from conventional symmetry, embracing fluidity, asymmetry and natural movement as defining elements of its identity. Its silhouette challenges traditional notions of proportion and balance, transforming the dining table into a powerful statement piece.
Entirely handcrafted in Greenapple’s in-house workshop in Portugal, Cerdeira reflects the brand’s deep commitment to artisanal mastery and design integrity. From the careful shaping of solid elements to the precise execution of refined details, every stage of its creation is guided by an uncompromising standard of excellence. This complete control over the production process not only ensures exceptional quality, but also allows for customization, adapting the piece to the unique vision of each interior.
More than an award-winning design, the Cerdeira Dining Table represents Greenapple’s philosophy of creating furniture with soul — pieces that transcend trends, honour craftsmanship and are made to endure. Receiving the GOOD DESIGN® Award is a meaningful recognition of this vision, reaffirming our dedication to designing objects that are as expressive and intentional as they are functional.
