Luxury Interior Design in Long Island, New York
This project began through a relationship that had already been established in Portugal, where the client first started working directly with Greenapple. When she later acquired a residence in Long Island, she chose to develop the interiors with the same team, looking for pieces with a distinct character and a more personal design language shaped by a refined approach to luxury interior design.
Across the living room, dining area, and bedrooms, the project evolved through a combination of exclusive designs, iconic Greenapple pieces, and made-to-measure furniture. Shaped by earthy tones, organic forms, and natural materials, the result is a home with a warm and expressive identity, where each space reflects the client’s sensibility and close involvement in the process.

Inside the Design
In the living room, the client was looking for an organic sofa that could bring softness and individuality to the space. In response, Greenapple developed a version designed specifically for the project, based on an adaptation of the Galapinhos Sofa. The room was further defined by a custom TV unit with an integrated display cabinet, combining Patagonia granite and oak root veneer — two of the project’s key materials — to create a stronger connection with nature through texture, depth, and earthy tones. The Saqris Cabinet was also introduced as a bar and support element, reinforcing the layered character of the room and the home’s overall approach to luxury interior design.
The dining area brought together some of the client’s preferred Greenapple designs. Drawn to the language of the Sistelo collection, she selected both the dining table and the sideboard, creating a cohesive setting with a clear sculptural identity. The space was completed with the Penedo Display Cabinet, chosen to showcase her private crystal collection and to introduce a more curated and personal dimension to the room.
In the bedrooms, Greenapple developed made-to-measure furniture and carefully oversaw the finishes to ensure they reflected the client’s preferences and the atmosphere envisioned for the home. This close attention to detail extended through to the final stage of the project, with the full installation carried out by the Greenapple team, ensuring consistency across every element of this luxury interior design project.
